Plaster of Paris Bandage

Gypsona® BP plaster of Paris bandage is made from a specially woven cloth,
uniformly impregnated with the finest quality, fast setting plaster of Paris that
produces an even cast with an excellent finish.
The bandage is spooled on a round core for superior bandage stability
whilst handling. Moisture resistant packaging improves the protection of
the bandages prior to use.
• Rapid fracture immobilisation
The fast setting plaster of Paris used on Gypsona® BP bandages ensures that
fractures can be rapidly immobilised, especially important in accident and
emergency departments, operating theatres and busy fracture clinics.
• Good conformability
The interlocked weave of this cloth makes the wet bandage more stable and
conformable, to mould around awkward contours. The cloth also helps to
minimise plaster loss.
• Moisture resistant packaging
Each bandage is packed in a splash-proof flow wrap. The pack offers good
protection to Gypsona® BP plaster of Paris bandages as well as being easy to
handle. Each pack has application instructions printed on it.
• Special cloth design
Edging technique along the bandage ensures minimal fraying and loose
threads. This gives a smoother cast finish.
